Background and education

Dr. John Harbison originally hails from Kansas City and now makes Omaha his home. He achieved his medical degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He acquired an exceptional level of expertise in advanced head and neck surgical treatments, including airway, trauma, and cancer reconstruction surgeries, placing him among the most accomplished facial plastic surgeons in the state and beyond.

Dr. John Harbison had the distinction of being accepted into one of the world’s most competitive Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowships at the University of California-Irvine. He utilized this time to further advance his knowledge of cutting-edge face and neck surgery techniques under the guidance of world leaders in rhinoplasty, oculoplastic surgery, and facial rejuvenation procedures. During this specialized training, he developed skills in facial aesthetic surgery, laser rejuvenation, and minimally- invasive clinical therapies, allowing him to deliver a broader scope of aesthetic treatments, and achieve exceptionally natural-looking, elegant results.
